Sometimes I cook for pleasure, out of inspiration or curiosity. Today I cooked out of necessity – the need for a quick and easy vitamin hit that will help balance my hormones and give my immunity a boost.
Have been having some intense migraines which press pause on the appetite, but listening to my body I needed a hit of greens and good fats to help oxidise my blood and get some nutrients in.
Both broccoli and Brussel sprouts are great for vitamin b-complex and help stabilise estrogen and improve circulation, preventing and reducing the effects of migraines.
A very easy recipe, because who can be f#*$!d with a throbbing headache 🤕!??
What you need:
- 1 head of broccoli
- 10 Brussel sprouts
- 1/2 cauliflower
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1/2 cup organic cream (optional but delicious and helps digest nutrients from greens)
- 1/2 head of garlic, roasted
