Activated Tamari Almonds 

Soaked nuts are easier to digest and allow us to absorb the many nutrients that are otherwise unavailable. 
Our ancestors have been soaking nuts and seeds for thousands of years knowing that it is necessary for our bodies to properly metabolise all the nutrition  they can offer us.

It’s an easy process and worth the preparation, especially if you love nuts but they make you bloated or find them difficult to digest. 

I think they taste amazing too, soaking and dehydrating opens up a world of flavouring possibilities!!


What you need: 

  • 500g raw organic almonds
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • 1/4 cup Tamari 


What you do:


Soak almonds overnight in a bowl with enough water to cover them, with ACV and salt. 

Drain the water, stir almonds in a bowl with Tamari and place almonds in a dehydrator on highest setting (or oven at 60 degrees) for 24 hours or until almonds are completely dried and crunchy.
